Donnelly

This winter we have enjoyed spending time with Grandpa Al and Grandma Sandi at their new place in Donnelly. There has been plenty of snow to play in. Dan and Al even built a sledding hill and slide for Paige. She had so much fun!

Snow Bunnies

Happy 2010! We spent New Year's day in Grandpa Al and Grandma Sandi's backyard. It was Paige's first time on skis, outside of our living room. Dan and Al pushed and pull her all around the yard - she loved it! We couldn't let Laney miss out on the fun so we bundled her up as well.

Happy Holidays

This year Christmas was very exciting at our house. Enjoying the holidays through the eyes of a 2 1/2 year old was fun for Dan and me. Paige loved the sparlkleys (Christmas lights) and hasn't stopped sing Jingle Bells, Frosty the Snowman and Santa Claus is Coming to Town. Paige loves books and was very excited to receive a pink book from Santa - that is all she asked for.

Laney has livened things up as well. She is officially on the move - not quite crawling on her hands and knees but she has her army crawl down, and she is fast! Her favorite things to play with are electrical cords and door stoppers and no one makes her laugh and smile like Paige.

Here are some pictures from our holiday activities:

Highlights from Summer 2009

We had a very fun but busy summer. So busy that it has taken me until November to post! I think we are almost recovered. Here are the highlights:

Paige turned two! Where has the time gone? We celebrated with visits from Aunt Leslie and Rachel, Keith, Kade and Riley.

Our big 2 year old!

Enjoying a birthday ice cream cone cupcake

We enjoyed meeting a lot of cousins and extended family at the Gallegos Family Reunion.

This included a visit from Great Grandma Theresa.

Swimming, swimming and more swimming. We spent a lot of time swimming at Grandpa and Grandma Gleason's house.

Laney didn't do much swimming but she enjoyed lounging by the pool.

We have many new friend that were born this summer.

Laney, Nicholas, Eva and James

Our friends Dave and Krista had a huge garden this year. We visited "the farm" regularly to pick corn, potatoes, beets, tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, beans and more! Paige got to sit on the tractor and loved to feed Dave and Krista's dog, Vegas.
We were lucky enough to go on several weekend camping trips to Donnelly with Grandpa Al and Grandma Sandi.

We also spent a weekend in Donnelly with the Welch's

Paige and Miles playing on the beach

Over Labor Day Shantel and Parker (my niece and nephew) spent several days with my Dad and Mary. Shantel was so excited to play with Paige and Laney. She treated them like the little sisters she has always wanted!

Bubbles in the hot tub...what fun Grandma Mary!

In early September we went to Art in the Park. Paige had her first experience painting. She loved it!
